What Summit covers
- Hospitals you can use
- Open — any hospital, freedom of choice
- In hospital
- Unlimited — any hospital, freedom of choice. Specialists at 300% of Momentum Medical Scheme Rate. Oncology unlimited. No overall annual limit.
- Day-to-day
- Day-to-day benefits paid from risk benefit. Overall day-to-day limit R34,500 per beneficiary (comprehensive formulary). No savings account — risk-funded.
- Chronic medication
- 26 CDL (no limit) + 36 additional conditions accumulate to R34,500 day-to-day limit. Any provider. Comprehensive formulary. Freedom of choice.
- Maternity
- Unlimited — full maternity programme including doula, 12 antenatal visits, 3D/4D scans, lactation consultant, 3 nurse home visits.
- Dental
- Basic dentistry within R34,500 day-to-day limit. Specialised dentistry R20,700/beneficiary, R49,800/family.
- Optical
- Overall limit R6,100 per beneficiary (frame sub-limit R3,080). Within R34,500 day-to-day limit.
- Mental health
- R50,600 per beneficiary inpatient. R29,600/family day-to-day mental health. Complete freedom of provider.
- PMBs (prescribed minimum benefits)
- Full PMB cover (legally required)
- Emergencies
- Netcare 911 unlimited. International emergency cover R9,010,000/beneficiary/90-day journey.
