What Incentive (Any Hospital, Any Chronic) covers
- Hospitals you can use
- Any private hospital
- In hospital
- Private hospital cover at any private hospital; R2,000 co-payment per authorisation applies (except MVA, maternity, emergencies); no overall annual limit.
- Day-to-day
- Personal Medical Savings Account — 10% of total contribution per year, claims paid at cost with no sub-limits.
- Chronic medication
- 32 conditions (26 CDL + 6 additional non-CDL, additional limited to R13,700/family/year). Chosen chronic provider: Any — Any = Standard formulary (any GP/pharmacy).
- Maternity
- No annual limit on confinement/neonatal ICU. Day-to-day maternity programme: 7 antenatal visits, 1 lactation consult, 1 nurse home visit, 2 pregnancy scans.
- Dental
- Day-to-day dentistry subject to Savings if available. In-hospital: wisdom teeth (R3,600/R6,800 co-payment), maxillo-facial under-7 (R1,820 co-payment), trauma at 200% MSR.
- Optical
- Subject to Savings (10% MSA) if available — no separate built-in optical rand-limit.
- Mental health
- R50,600 per beneficiary for in-hospital mental health; day-to-day subject to 10% Savings if available.
